IBM style signal processing expressions

Using this option you can create processed signals using the syntax that was previously used in NEWDSP on the IBM mainframe. These pages hold a copy of the relevant part of the NEWDSP help pages.

Click the IBM button at the top of the Signal processing - Create Processed Signal dialog to show the relevant panel: please note that the first three fields correspond to those on IBM-NEWDSP, hence the Y-axis vector ('Data') is the last and the X axis vector ('Time') second.

After filling in the fields, click 'Create Signal' to create the new signal.

The interpolation parameters (time range etc) can be set by clicking 'Interpolation'.
