Transformations in IDL-JETDSP
After loading TRANSP signals it is still possible to perform the same basic signal processing options. Currently the operations available are,
- Volume Integral.
- Flux Integral.
- Area Integral.
- Line Average.
- Volume Average.
- Root Mean Square Volume Average.
- Double Inverse Line Average.
- Double Inverse Volume Average.
- Derivative.
- Logarithmic Derivative.
- Scale length.
These options can be selected from the menu option 'Transp Functions->Transformations...'.
This differs from the input transformation in two ways.
- This allows transformations for signals on four bases, 'X', 'XB', 'RZON', and 'RBOUN'.
- The lower limit can be given either in terms of R or X.
Note that if given in X it must be between 0.0 and 1.0, and if given in R the value must lie within the plasma.
