TED graphical symbolsThe precise meaning of all the graphical symbols used to display timeslice information is explained in relation to how to the data is displayed. A summary of all the graphics symbols however can be produced in TED, to see the precise appearance of the different symbols used along with their meaning. To display such a list, select the Explain symbols option from the List menu. Doing so will display a small graphical window as below, This lists all the different symbols and ways of displaying timeslice data. The top five items indicate the different types of timeslice lines selected, along with the type of colour and linestyle used to display that type of timeslice. The next two items show that a mode point (indicating a change in a mode of the plasma) is indicated by a change in the background shading at that point. It also shows the different colours used to designate changes in MODE type mode points and MOPH type mode points. Finally the symbol used to denote an event type point is indicated. |
