Editing timeslice data

Timeslice data can be edited and saved to PPF. This allows, for example, the marking of events of interest during a pulse, or the marking of reasons for interest in particular timeslices. This facilitates a later analysis of such features of interest.

Timeslice lines, mode type data and event data can be edited (created, moved or deleted). In addition, reasons for interest in particular timeslices or events can be set or altered.

Editing Features

Editing of the timeslice data is performed with the right mouse button. This allows the left mouse button to be used for changes to the data display, such as zooming and panning. A timeslice editing mouse bar is provided to select what effect the right mouse button can have. Depending on the options set, clicking on the graphical display of the data with the right mouse button may,

  • Select the time point clicked for creation of new timeslice data.
  • Select existing timeslice data to move or delete.
  • Select an existing timeslice or event to add or alter the reasons for that timeslice or event.

In addition to this a specific altered value of the disruption time, for a disruption pulse, can be given to the program.
