Shortcuts
JETDSP's setup files

Keyboard shortcuts in JETDSP on Unix.

It is now possible to use keyboard short cuts within JETDSP. Currently these only are available for the main signal table and the viewpr windows.

For example pressing 'Ctrl-R' will bring up the 'Read Signal' dialogue.

A full list of shortcuts is given in the table below. Note that some of these only apply to the main window and others only to viewpr windows.

It is also possible to access the menu bar using the keyboard and this is done by pressing the 'Alt' key along with the highlighted character.

For example to read a signal press 'Alt-f' then 'r'.

By default it is not possible to use the 'Alt' keys when using Exceed. To use them it is necessary to change your preferences. This is done via the Exceed configuration programme 'exceed.cfg' on your PC. Run this program and simply double click on 'Input' and set the 'Alt Key:' option to 'To X'.
